MBA Associate, Growth & Insight

Location: San Francisco or Remote (preferably 1-2 days a week at our SF office)

Commitment: Part-time (10–20 hours/week, flexible around MBA schedule)

About the Role

We’re looking for an MBA Associate to join our Growth & Marketing team and lead long-form research projects that power our thought leadership. You’ll dig deep into the startup and VC ecosystem: analyzing funding trends, industry benchmarks, and accounting practices and produce research that we’ll translate into short, digestible insights for founders, CFOs, and accountants.

Think of it this way: you build the engine (research + analysis); we turn it into media (newsletters, social, charts, briefings).

Goal: we want to build trust within the startup space by educational them, identifying who are the up-and-coming startups in the space who raised, etc.

What You’ll Do

• Research & Analysis

  • Conduct deep research on the startup and venture ecosystem
  • Build benchmarks on finance, accounting workflows, and automation adoption
  • Translate complex findings into clear executive summaries

• Content Enablement

  • Produce long-form reports, whitepapers, or decks that feed marketing campaigns
  • Partner with Growth and CEO to distill research into bite-sized insights (charts, narratives, LinkedIn posts)
  • Support development of recurring insight briefs and thought leadership

• Go-to-Market Strategy Support

  • Surface trends that shape our positioning and messaging
  • Provide research inputs for blogs, investor materials, and events
  • Experiment with data storytelling formats for wider distribution
